WLAA WEEKS

OWNER / LEAD FITNESS CONSULTANT

Born in Miami, Florida and raised in London and Ghana, and originally from Liberia, Wlaa’s journey is a story of integration, adaptability, and passion. From a young age, he was immersed in a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, football, and track & field. His upbringing took him across continents—Africa, Europe, and the United States—shaping his ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Wlaa pursued his academic journey at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, earning a degree in Finance. While balancing three jobs, a demanding class schedule, and participation in D1 football, he honed his skills in time management, prioritization, and portfolio management. Originally aspiring to become an investment banker on Wall Street, Wlaa faced an unexpected challenge when the 2008 financial crisis reshaped his career trajectory after graduation.

In 2012, Wlaa turned adversity into opportunity by founding a fitness company based on the principles of portfolio management—a groundbreaking concept in the fitness industry at the time. He applied his expertise in goal setting, gradual progress, and strategy to help clients improve their health and well-being in a sustainable, efficient way.

Wlaa’s training philosophy is simple yet impactful: small, consistent improvements lead to lasting change. Each session is designed to leave clients feeling better than when they arrived, with “feeling better” uniquely tailored to their preferences and goals. His approach extends beyond workouts, focusing on enhancing mindset, self-awareness, and efficiency in all areas of life.

Three words that describe Wlaa’s training style are efficient, energetic, and attentive. His sessions have a knack for “sneaking up on you” and leaving you catching your breath—pun intended. He adapts to your vibe, ensuring a relaxed and personalized training atmosphere while maintaining a sharp focus on how your body works and what motivates you.

Outside of training, Wlaa is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves exploring new restaurants. His guilty pleasure? Sampling all the bread and butter at every spot he visits (calories don’t count when it’s that good, right?).
